OUR INTENTION TO PROTECT THE EARTH

VITAL is not a sustainable beauty company, as we don't have all the answers—yet. VITAL was founded on transparency, and we believe that any business based on consumption (including ours) cannot be truly and fully sustainable within the current limits of sustainability in business. We are working hard to ensure that we are minimizing our impact, but don't have all the answers figured out, and we want to be transparent about where we are on this journey.

We believe doing people is just not enough anymore. Our survival depends on doing good for both people and the planet. It is time to change what we have been consuming. Time, we question what goes inside, not just in what we eat but also what we apply on our bodies. As much as we are making products that are clean and safe for our health, it is time we examine the impact of these products on the health of life around us.

Our products are powered by active ingredients extracted from plants that thrive on our planet. Like our antioxidants extracted from barbados cherry, green tree from tea plants etc. This helps us make safe, clean and effective formulas that celebrate and respect what our planet has to offer. We are obliged to take care of this planet.

We went back to the question – What can we do to make products that consumers don't have to choose between what’s effective, what’s right for them, and what’s good for the planet. Again! We don't have answers - but we are actively seeking them.

We understand the fact that having no answers shouldn’t be an excuse. VITAL is considering various initiatives to give back to the Earth. This includes but is not limited to more responsible packaging, fighting climate change, better waste management, responsible sourcing and product lifecycle, and water conservation.
